Hi guys, it's been ages! Well, since I journal'd. Anyway, just wanted to lay out some news.

Some of you have asked about prints! I have a shop over at INPRNT, and there's free worldwide shipping until Sunday (9/19). If there's an image you want that's not up there, just let me know and I'll try to get that updated.

Also,  I’ve been sitting on this for a while, but I’m so excited to announce that Light Grey Art Lab’s Dream Arcade is out for all to play. The folks over at LGAL did a fantastic job. It’s an awesome project, and it’s so much fun to play through everyone’s levels.

And without further ado, Play all the free levels here! You can also snag a copy for yourself over at the Windows Store if you want to keep it forever. Feel free to donate to LGAL if you’d like or send love and fanmail to the artists of your favorite levels!

Still alive! But I actually graduated two weeks ago. Since then, I've been on vacation/helping out at ICON7. Maybe I can actually UPLOAD THINGS now.

Real life, go go go!

I just realized I haven't written a journal here in a year. While that's not a good reason to start, I, uh...well, neglect makes me feel guilty.

So! This is my THE FUTURE IS EXCITING journal. I am somehow halfway through my senior year. With graduation on the horizon, my department seems to be in a state of either joyful excitement or paralyzing fear. Sometimes both. At the same time. It's a confusing environment to be in, that's for sure. Strangely, I've spent most of my time at RISD being scared, that at this point I actually feel pretty normal. Still, the future is a fuzzy grey place that I'm kind of looking forward to. Things like having an oven, diurnal roommates, dance lessons, etc...honestly, real life is starting to look more and more appealing. So, here's to that!

On the other hand, my art has never been so bizarrely inconsistent. So that's pretty tragic. But I imagine I'll sort it out sooner or later. And if all else fails, I'd make a spectacularly bad taxi driver. (I think I'll try, and they'll be so horrified by my driving skills that they'll send me back to art. This is a great plan.)

Anyway, I'm home for the holidays and determined to relax. Happy holidays to you DA folks~ I hope you all indulge in snow, fireplaces, and too many cookies.

Just a quick/silly update. One of my shirts in the running for the 10K over at DBH was picked up as a daily print, and I'm really thrilled with how they printed it. Some folks had expressed interest in snagging a copy if it actually worked out, so check it out of if you'd like:

And in other news, the semester went by uncomfortably fast! But I'm ready for holiday cheer and snow. Hope ya'll are having a lovely December.

Anyway, been back at school for a week and a half now. It was a little sad that the end of my vacation had to coincide with my birthday (thanks for the birthday wishes, DA folks ), but it's nice to be back where there're hills and things.

Summer was good, if uninteresting by most folks' standards. Did my usual life-sorting routine, and spent most of the three months up to my elbows figuring out morality and modern-day society. Funfun! @___@ I regretfully must report that I did not manage to catch the ice cream truck, but I -did- make a lot of homemade pasta and guacamole. Also, a caramel custard that tasted like breakfast.

Art-wise, things were fairly scarce, mainly because I've found myself at a bit of a crossroads. I was supposed to spend this summer really figuring out what I like, and what I could possibly do with it. And somewhere between what my skill set would have me do, what financial issues would have me do, people telling me that I'm not suited for concept art, and the gross indecisiveness of my own mind, I've come to something of an impasse. Um. Anyway, so much for a clear and decisive artful summer! 'til I get things figured out (could be months, could be decades), I suppose I should warn you guys that I have no idea what kind of things I'm going to be making this semester, so. We shall see. I trust ya'll will smack me if I start uploading photo-realistic paintings of spaghetti and dust motes though, yah?
