The last physical piece for my "monster" class, for this week's metamorphosis theme. A little glad to have these over and done with; they've been incredibly draining, and as such my nerves have been paper-thin for about three weeks. No good! But that said, it's been an insane learning experience.
This one, which I have yet to pass personal judgment on, is a fairly straight forward metamorphosis. Man to aquatic creature, or vice-versa. In actuality, however, the whole thing is about longing. Wanting to be someone, or somewhere you're not. Just passed my two year anniversary being back in the states, so I've been super Japan-sick as of late. My beautiful coastal mountain valley, can't wait to see you again. <3
In other news, much thanks to the friends who didn't let me beat myself senseless on my keyboard during the making of this. And ended up hacking a chunk of this piece off (black wall, no good!) + line fixings.
Ah, I'm glad you like it! I didn't intend anyone to be there, no. Just him'n his giant aquatic tail. Does it look like there is? (Just curious, I think it'd be pretty interesting if it did!)
Oh wow; I love the earthy tones used in this, as well as the blue incorporated into the shading areas, as well. I love the visible hand and the almost magical-looking water in the bathtub.
But yes if you loomk under his chest it look like someone with brown hair is there, atleast thats what I think ^////^
